Effective Date: January 14, 2026
Core Mission
Our mission is to provide authoritative, objective, and forward-looking intelligence on the next generation of financial infrastructure. We prioritize accuracy and institutional-grade analysis over hype or speculation.
Professional Integrity & Accuracy
- Verification: All technical claims regarding blockchain protocols, CBDC pilots, or tokenization frameworks must be verified through primary sources (whitepapers, official central bank releases, or verified GitHub repositories).
- Fact-Checking: We do not publish rumors as facts. If a development is unconfirmed, it must be explicitly labeled as “market speculation” or “unverified reports.”
- Corrections: If an error is identified, we will issue a correction promptly and transparently at the top or bottom of the article.
Conflict of Interest & Disclosures
To maintain the trust of our readers, all contributors (staff and guest authors) must adhere to the following:
- Asset Disclosure: Authors must disclose if they hold a significant position (more than $1,000 USD) in any specific digital asset or private company mentioned in their reporting.
- No Pay-for-Play: dgtl-asset does not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage. Sponsored content must be clearly labeled as “Sponsored” or “Partner Content” in a high-contrast font at the beginning of the post.
- Independence: Our analysis is independent of any commercial partnerships. External stakeholders cannot influence our editorial conclusions.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
In 2026, we acknowledge the role of AI in data aggregation, but we maintain a “Human-Verified” standard:
- AI Usage: AI may be used for research assistance, data visualization, or grammatical polishing.
- Human Oversight: Every article published must be reviewed, edited, and “signed off” by a human editor to ensure nuance, ethical alignment, and technical accuracy.
- No Hallucinations: Contributors are responsible for any false claims generated by AI tools used in their research.
Respect and Professionalism
- Non-Discrimination: We do not tolerate content that promotes hate speech or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or nationality.
- Professional Tone: We engage in “ideas-based” criticism. While we may critique a specific policy or technical framework, we avoid personal attacks on developers, policymakers, or industry leaders.
Regulatory Awareness
As we cover digital assets, we recognize the evolving regulatory perimeter (e.g., FCA, SEC, MiCA).
- Compliance: We do not promote unregulated “get-rich-quick” schemes or provide unlicensed financial advice.
- Global Context: We strive to reflect the diverse regulatory approaches across different jurisdictions (e.g., the Global South’s focus on financial inclusion vs. the West’s focus on market stability).
Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward bribery and corruption. This applies to all staff, guest contributors, and partners.
- Prohibited Payments: No contributor may offer, promise, give, or accept any financial or other advantage (including “facilitation payments”) to influence an official or gain an improper business advantage.
- Hospitality & Gifts: We do not accept gifts, hospitality, or travel expenses that could be perceived as a bribe to influence our coverage of a specific project, token, or protocol. Small, branded “promotional” items (e.g., a notebook) are generally acceptable, but must be disclosed to the editorial team.
- Strict Independence: Our reporting on regional infrastructure (like mBridge or BRICS Pay) is strictly based on technical and economic merit, never on private inducements.
Modern Slavery and Human Rights
While dgtl-asset.com is an intelligence-based platform, we recognize our responsibility to ensure our supply chain and partnerships are free from exploitation.
- Zero Tolerance: We do not engage with partners, vendors, or data providers known to be involved in modern slavery, servitude, or human trafficking.
- Supply Chain Vigilance: We prefer to work with service providers (hosting, data, and software) that have clear, published Modern Slavery Statements.
- Reporting on Exploitation: When covering the “real-world” impact of digital assets (such as critical mineral mining for hardware), we commit to highlighting the importance of human rights and ethical sourcing in the physical infrastructure layer.
Reporting Concerns & Whistleblowing
dgtl-asset is committed to the highest standards of integrity. If you suspect a breach of our Code of Conduct—including issues related to bribery, modern slavery, or editorial independence—we encourage you to speak up.
How to Report: You can submit a confidential report to our compliance lead at rbs@dgtl-asset.com
Our Commitment to You:
- Anonymity: You may report anonymously. We will protect your identity to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Non-Retaliation: We strictly prohibit any form of retaliation against individuals who raise ethical concerns in good faith.
- Thorough Investigation: Every report is taken seriously and will be investigated by a human editor or legal representative who is not involved in the matter.
